Since February 2006, I am a member of the ETH Zurich, Seminar für Statistik. From July 2002 to January 2006, I was a member of the Statistics and Computational Biology research group at the Department of Statistics of the University of Munich. I obtained my Ph.D. in March 2006 from the Department of Statistics of the University of Munich on the topic "Gene networks - searching for graphical structure" under the supervision of Korbinian Strimmer. In my LMU diploma thesis in Statistics I worked on criteria for the decision on therapeutic non-inferiority under the supervision of Iris Pigeot.
