[BioC] Error in rma(data) : couldn't find function "notes" when running rma

Hi,
I tried to run Affy (affy1.1.1) using rma and I got this error msg:

Error in rma(data) : couldn't find function "notes".

Here is what I did:
> data <- ReadAffy()
> eset <-rma(data)
Background correcting
Normalizing
Calculating Expression
Error in rma(data) : couldn't find function "notes"

Could anybody help?
