[BioC] R/blast

[A.J. Rossini]

Has anyone implemented a connection between R and either a local or
remote based BLAST?  It looks reasonably easy, if a rather large
compile (basing it on the NCBI toolkit).  I'll (actually, with an
informatics grad student) be doing such soon-ish if no one else has...
