[BioC] Package installtion perfect but for...

-- Installing on Mandrake 8.0 from http://www.bioconductor.org/packages/devel/distrib/Bioconductor_1.0.tar.gz
using R CMD R CMD INSTALL Bioconductor_1.0.tar.gz.  Its only error was in

rhdf5 which gave the error:



Installing *source* package 'rhdf5' ...  problem with rhdf5
          [... things that are fine]
          checking hdf5 in /sw... failed
          configure: error: please specify a valid hdf5 installation with --with-hdf5=DIR
          ERROR: configuration failed for package 'rhdf5'

downloading http://www.bioconductor.org/packages/devel/html/rhdf5.html
gave same result.

Is this just my system or a general problem?

How to fix?
