[BioC] "affy" installation problems

This most likely means that the shell that 'INSTALL' is trying to access
doesn't exist or has incorrect perms.  But 'INSTALL' is using /bin/sh,
which I'd be extremely surprised if that actually is the culprit.  Perhaps
one of the perl calls along the way?

What is the result of 'which sh' at your unix prompt?
