Bioinformatician/ Senior Bioinformatician (Refs: ARD/BF/03, ARD/SBF/01)
The Roles
As a Bioinformatician or Senior Bioinformatician you will be responsible for performing experimental design and expression data analysis, managing projects and ensuring that schedules and specified quality standards are met. In addition, you will also deputise for supervisors/managers when appropriate, whilst retaining up to date knowledge of relevant scientific literature and data analysis techniques.
Requirements:
Bioinformatician
Candidates must have a post graduate qualification in Bioinformatics or a primary degree in computer science with a postgraduate qualification in biological science. He/she will have experience in the area of gene expression data mining and knowledge of statistical methods/software, public databases and other online Bioinformatics resources. 
Senior Bioinformatician
In addition to the above, the successful candidate for the Senior Bioinformatician role should have a proven track record and greater than 3 years experience in Bioinformatics, in particular but not exclusively in the field of microarray data analysis.  The successful individual must have clearly demonstrated the ability to select and utilize appropriate statistical methods for microarray data analysis including normalization, clustering techniques, annotation and molecular pathway modelling. The candidate should also have experience in leading projects, mentoring junior staff, and possess excellent communication skills.

Biostatistician (Ref ARD/BIO/01)
The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing statistical expertise and support in the field of DNA microarrays.  He/she will be expected to drive the development and implementation of statistically sound protocols for experimental design, data QC and analysis. They will also be involved in the generation and assessment of clinical trial data, presenting statistical results and training of other group members.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have at least a master's degree in biostatistics and experience in statistical approaches used for the design and analysis of microarray experiments. He/she will have broader experience of applying statistics in biomedical research and be familiar with statistical/mathematical software such as SAS, MatLab, SPSS, S+/R and with BioConductor tools. They will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to work closely in a team as well as interact efficiently with external consultants, collaborators and customers. People and project managemnt skills as well as PhD in biostatistics and experience in QA and clinical trial design and analysis are highly desirable.

Applications and System Manager (Ref ARD/ASM/01)
The Role:
As an Applications and System Manager you will be responsible for the stability, adequate performance and correct use of ArraDx Bioinformatics software applications and UNIX based systems. Furthermore, ensuring integrity, security and tracebility of the data used and generated by the company will be your primary objective. In addition, you will also deputise for supervisors/managers when interacting with external software/hardware providers and contractors.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a post graduate qualification in Bioinformatics or a primary degree in computer science with a minimum of 3 years experience in Bioinformatics and systems management experience. Extensive experience of working in both MS Windows and UNIX environments is required and UNIX system administration experience would be preferable. Experience of training users and documentation of applications, systems and training is highly desirable. Previous experience in preparing hardware specifications and user requirement gathering and documenting is essential. Good organisational and administrative abilities are critical. The candidate should also have experience in leading projects, mentoring junior staff, and possess excellent communication skills.
