Hi,

You can reinstall the package you want to update by using biocLite():

     > installed.packages()['Biobase', 'Version']
     > [1] "1.9.15"
     > source('http://bioconductor.org/biocLite.R')
     > biocLite('Biobase')
    ...
     > installed.packages()['Biobase', 'Version']
     > [1] "1.9.17"
