[BioC] [biocannotation] Question about mgu74a

Hi, Xiaowu,

I am not familiar with genome data. I know that the source data for the 
mgu74a in bioc release 1.8 was downloaded from UCSC Genome Database on 
March 19, 2006. Also, the source data for the mgu74a in bioc release 1.6 
was downloaded in April, 2005. According to this page: 
http://genome.ucsc.edu/FAQ/FAQreleases, I guess it means the mgu74a in 
release 1.8 and 1.6 is built upon mm8 and mm6, respectively. You can 
download them from http://www.bioconductor.org/download/metadata/

But again, I am not 100% sure about my answer. Therefore I forward this 
email to bioc mailinglist. Hope the experts here can help to verify the 
answer.
