[BioC] Checking qc

Dear Dr. Miller and others,

Hi, I am trying to use simpleaffy to examine at the quality metrics of
the chips. The problem is that I am working with 276 HG-Focus chips and
even working on a linux server I don't have enough RAM.

Does it matter if I don't load the whole experiment into R? Is it a
valid approach to look at, say 50 chips, at a time?
