To all package users and developers,

in sight of the upcoming Bioconductor release, EBImage's got its new
information home:

http://ebimage.wordpress.com

(this will also appear as URL on the package page). This is generally a
blog-site, but the page is intended more for package users to leave
comments, bug reports, feature requests as addressed mainly to the
developer/maintainer but not to the community. No registration required
to leave your comment. This method is generally preferred over emailing
since I will be informed about the post and he comment will remain
on-site until it can be fixed and other users could see it instead of
being lost in email heap.

The page will also be used to announce stable package updates between
the Bioconductor releases, known bugs and known feature requests and
provide additional help information on installation issues, use cases etc.

At the same time, if you have a more general question than the one that
a package developer must address -- the use of community mailing lists
is recommended.

PS. The latest SVN version corrects a bug that prevented using the
display() function on MacOS and X tunnelling over SSH.

Best regards,
Oleg
