[BioC] how to see the content of a bioconductor function?

Actually, according to the S4 gurus, the correct method is

showMethods(xval, includeDefs=TRUE)

The getMethods() function is primarily designed for programmatic access 
to the methods.

It is often useful to add the 'classes' argument to only get the method 
you are interested in.
