[BioC] exon array QC

Dear all,

I am working on the exon array data analysis, and got two questions here

1) Affymetrix does not recommend the thredhold for the QC parameters, such as on the gene level analysis, pm-mean, bgrd-mean, pos_vs_neg_auc, all Probe-residual, and positive control residual. Does anybody has some experience or recommendation?

2)  Is there any other bioconductor package except "exonmap"?
