Postdoctoral Fellow

Statistician - Bioinformatician

Applications are invited for a postdoctoral research fellow position  
jointly funded by the German Research Council and the Ludwig- 
Maximilians-University in München.

We are looking for an experienced statistician with a keen interest in  
answering questions revolving around gene regulation in the chromatin  
context. The successful candidate will collaborate with the groups of  
the Collaborative Research Center ‘Chromatin’ in München on the  
mining, analysis, integration and interpretation of genome-wide  
protein interaction and gene expression data (derived from ChIP-chip,  
ChIP-seq and Affymetrix experiments) and is expected to develop own  
research interests.

He/she will join a small team at the Molecular Biology Unit of the  
Adolf-Butenandt-Institute, which is situated in the inner city of  
Munich. Payment is according to the Federal payment scheme (E13).   
Funding is initially available for up to four years.
