Hi James,

Is there a reason why you can't use the annotation packages or biomaRt?

You can learn about the annotation packages by reading the AnnotationDbi
documentation here:

http://www.bioconductor.org/packages/release/bioc/html/AnnotationDbi.html

You can see what annotation packages are available here:

http://www.bioconductor.org/packages/release/data/annotation/

And you can learn about biomaRt here:

http://www.bioconductor.org/packages/release/bioc/html/biomaRt.html

  Marc
