[BioC] Gene IDs returned by RankProd topGene command

Hi all,
in RankProd, after designating the first column as gene IDs with:

rownames(datafile)= datafile [,1]
datafile = datafile [,-1]

is there a way for the topGene results to reflect back the rownames instead of gene.index?
