R-alpha: Differences R/S

Here's what I found.

* parse() has white = F by default (is T by default in S)

* S seems to have signif(x, digits = 6) whereas R needs an explicit
  second argument

* S title() has an axes = F optional argument

* In S, first argument to vector() is called `mode' and not `type'
