R-alpha: R-mailinglists -- "server down" scheduled for Friday, July 18 (MET)

It's vacation time here, so ...

Friday in 8 days, our main server will get an OS upgrade
	(Solaris 2.4 |--> 2.5.1).
This will make the  R-mailinglists fail for several hours
(or more if we are unlucky).

I hope that the next  alpha or beta release of R 
will be well BEFORE that date such that nobody will suffer from this out
time. 

[ Usual working time of the upgrade staff is 8.00 -- 17.00 (= 5pm)
  Middle-European Summer Time  ("MET DST") which is Universal Time +2(hours),
  i.e., it won't affect NZ's Friday much... ]
