	Subject: prcomp

I've noticed that the arguments and result list of prcomp in
the mva package (with 61.1) are not quite the same as in the
Blue Book and in Splus. Is this intentional or can I change it?
If I change it who should I send the code to?

The present prcomp is a compromise between the Splus prcomp and
princomp (I didn't know about princomp and felt that prcomp wasn't
satisfactory). I suppose each of these have their place, but I don't
really like the idea of having two functions, it just makes it harder
for users.

As for the "who"; post it to r-devel. This gives a chance for anyone
interested to review it. You may need to ask a week or so later
whether anyone with commit rights has committed it.
