complex is not currently reserved, but it is in the draft stanadrd
revision.  (I might see the confusion. It does not say `to be passed to C',
and it means after passing to C.)

No! Use complex in interpreted R code and Rcomplex in C.

We will shortly have compatibility headers for the C code that covers this.

Foreign.Rd has not yet been updated to reflect this change, but
the Writing R Extensions manual has.
