  I will try to add something of this sort during next XMax holidays.
  Kurt, I am pretty sure that I will need your help for this and also for 
  the base distribution since I want to try to port the 
  png, jpeg and bmp devices now working under Windows (and
  so I need some compiler switch to know if libpng, jpeg...
  are installed). More after the attempt.
