PD>Wouldn't think so, but I can recheck from home (which is masqueraded
PD>via an ISP, like your setup). Still wouldn't explain your differences

PD>from Netscape ftp://.
Please let me know what you find from home. I just re-tried Netscape
ftp:// and it would not work either, which makes more sense. I must
have been trying too many things at the same time this morning. Netscape
http works fine. Wisconsin certainly was not slow for me this morning
(R downloaded in less than a minute) but it seems to be having some
trouble now.

BDR>Well, I am not coming from one, and it works for me. Indeed, as I am

BDR>behind a compulsory proxy...
This is similar to what I'm doing from work, but only http and not ftp
work for me. I'll try to get our security guru to see if he can tell
what's wrong. I usually do use http, for the reasons you mention, but I
was trying to narrow down the source of other problems I was having this
morning when I ran into the ftp difficulty.
