install.packages warning

I mis-spelled "chron" and with

    install.packages(c("tseries", "cron"))

I get tseries installed ok and cron fails as it should, but I think the
warning could be more suggestive of the problem:

Warning messages:
1: argument `lib' is missing: using /apps/R/library in:
install.packages(c("tseries", "cron"))
2: Download of package cron failed in: download.packages(pkglist,
destdir = tmpd, available = available,

Also, it would be nice if update.packages did install.packages in the
case where a package is not already installed, and it would be nice to
be able to pass "--quiet" to wget.
