What version of R? Which version of NTEmacs?

I suspect it might have to do with the d*mn'd JavaScript in the help
files (which causes me slight annoyance since java/javascript, images,
and cookies are turned off by default in my browser, but that's minor
and mostly irrelevant).

But I might be wrong. I've cc'd R-devel in case anyone knows what's
happening or has seen it before?

best,
