As a principle, we don't add tests or examples during a feature
freeze. Yours looks harmless, but there have been cases where a new
example caused "make check" to fail (on someone else's machine), and
we have a strict policy of not committing changes without running
"make check" at this stage. It's being paranoid, but simple rules are
easier to follow, and I think it is important for the general
stability to avoid disturbing the release process at this stage. We
can put your examples in the 1.2 tree when we get to that.
