Mailing to r-bugs with (PR#nnn) in the subject should at least get the
message filed in the right place and cause the PR to be moved to
-fixed next time someone sets out to tidy up the repository.

(I took the liberty of doing just that with this note, hope that it's
not too indiscreet to quote your letter for that purpose.)
