Is this in SDI or MDI mode, and if the latter, are you resizing the
commands window or the frame?  It's not clear to me why you would want to
be resizing anyway: the sizes of the console and pager windows are set in
file Rconsole.

None of those possibilities cause problems on my systems (NT4 / W2k
Professional).
