[Rd] Sys.time dumps core at start-up (PR#821)

R dumps core if the first command I use is Sys.time():

    > Sys.time()
    Segmentation fault (core dumped) 

This works fine:

    > s <- Sys.time()
    > s
    [1] "2001-01-23 19:38:49 CET"

This works fine too:

    > 1+1
    [1] 2
    > Sys.time()
    [1] "2001-01-23 19:40:56 CET"
