Several R-devel subscribers have alerted me to the problem,
>> R-devel Digest Monday, September 24 2001 Volume 01 : Number 314
with the 3 messages
>> [Rd] R 1.3.1 fails 'make check' on arm in the Bessel example (PR#1097)
>> [Rd] Bug list summary (automatic post)
>> [Rd] (PR#1089) Can be closed
seemed to have gone to probably all subscribers of r-devel.
What happened was that a broken E-mail engine @zerowork.co.uk
got the regular digest message and managed to `post it back to R-devel'.
I'm trying a bit harder to have this not happening again in the future.
