  Surely there's a single-character on this keyboard that accurately 
invokes the directional nature of assignment to variables, without 
having ambiguous meanings or alternate syntactic options? Yes! There, on 
the top right, an arrow pointing to the left!

  Oh no, thats the backspace key...
