submitting binary windows packages

Hi All,

The windows binary packages in
http://cran.r-project.org/bin/windows/contrib/ are out of date for my
packages, and perhaps for others as well. I've now received several email
messages commenting on this fact.

Since I now have a Windows 2K machine with the proper build environment, I
can create the windows binary packages myself. What is the proper mechanism
for getting a windows binary package placed there?

This topic is not documented in the R Windows FAQ or anywhere else I can
find. Kurt has indicated that the windows area is mirrored from one of
Brian's machines, but my query to Brian has not been answered yet. (Perhaps
he is taking a well-deserved break). Does someone else know the proper
procedure?

If there is not already, can we arrange to set up an automated build
procedure so that a Windows binary package is created automatically when the
source package is uploaded? Or some alternative?

Greg
