[Rd] inconsistency/bug in recordPlot/replayPlot

Hi

If you want an explicit background (rather than just relying on what the 
device gives you), you can do something like ...

par(bg="white")
plot(1:10)
recplot = recordPlot()
png("bgreplay.png")
replayPlot(recplot)
dev.off()

Would that satisfy your use case ?
