This may be a little far out, but if you get the current version of
the gnuwin32 tools from Cygnus, it is possible to compile the *unix*
version with only a few modifications. There were some bugs in the
PostScript code around the time that Rapril was built, which might be
what is bothering you. 

What you get from the gnuwin32 compile is a straight stdin/out
application with all of the Unixy bits nicely emulated but *with no
graphics display*, but that actually fits your bill rather nicely. The
whole thing is not for the faint at heart, pre-beta versions and
patches that must be obtained from obscure places and whatnot. I would
not recommend it unless you (or a coworker) are fairly well-versed in
the Unix way of doing things.
