That is not certain. There are essentially two people capable of
getting the act together on Win95 builds, namely Robert Gentleman and
Guido Masarotto who have each their version on CRAN. Getting the
version updated requires that one of them finds the necessary free
time.

However, as far as I'm aware, all of the changes re. glm are in
interpreted code, so you should be able to just grab that from the
newer Unix version. Robert's version is based on a snapshot of sources
immediately prior to 0.62, so should be the safest bet.

I'm currently summer-vacationing in my home. If the weather keeps
acting up, I might get myself up to speed on crosscompiling R for
Win32 with gcc on a Unix host. This has been a long-standing wish of
mine because it could potentially bring the versions in much better
sync.
