R-beta: Strange behavior

When I submit the command
>library(help=mva)
or any of the libraries, I get an application error and R stops.  Any ideas?
I am running RJune under Windows NT 4.0 and am a bit confused about where
the various parts of a distribution (be it bootstrap, lme,etc) should 
reside, that
is, in what directories the various folders should be.

Any help appreciated!
