For me, it's a cool feature: I use the standard help file when I know what
I want to do, but I don't remember that !?$ù* option I need.

But, to learn the details of a new (for me)  command I prefer the visually
pleasant and  typographically elegant (yes, I print sometimes...) pdf files
produced by pdflatex with this new feature (and so I can appreciate the
hard work of the R team in the developpement of the R help file format...)
