[R] color allocation problem

This is an X problem, and only indirectly related to R. It seems that
applications you started before R have used all the available
colors. How many colors are available depends on your X configuration,
probably you have it only configured to use 256 colors.

Netscape is known to be rather memory-intensive ... if you have
netscape running try to start it with the -no-install option, then it
shouldn't install it's own color map.
