survsum() is also missing in the S release of survival5 I was working from
-- I hadn't noticed because I never use it and it isn't tested by the test
suite or by make check.

The version from survival4 should work in the same way that it used to. I
will check to see whether it has disappeared deliberately or just by bit
rot.
