perhaps it'is only a temporary failure but

[dreau at raoul cvs]$ cvs -d :pserver:anoncvs at cvs.r-project.org:/home/rcvs/src co R
cvs server: Updating R
cvs server: failed to create lock directory in repository `/home/rcvs/src/R': Permission denied
cvs server: failed to obtain dir lock in repository `/home/rcvs/src/R'
cvs [server aborted]: read lock failed - giving up
I remenber i had the same message with a cvs mirror of Gnome in the past, but
i don't kown what is the origin of this error message.
