[R] make.socket() fails under Windows NT (2nd)

Some days ago I asked for help because make.socket() failed under WinNT
(RW-0.64.2).

Thanks to Brian D. Ripley and Thomas Lumley, I learned that there was a
problem with pre-compiler flags, and that RW-0.65.1 will probably work
better. Indeed, now I have no problems creating a (client) socket.

However, if I try to connect an R-process using a client-socket to another
R-process providing a Server-Socket (with option server = TRUE) then I get
the following error message:

  Error: Object "socket" not found

which did not happen under linux. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?
