yes, if you read the online help (which you should before asking R-help),
you find the following at the end of the help "page" :

     %% LaTeX Example
     \documentclass{article}
>>>> \usepackage{pictex}   
     \begin{document}
     %...
     \begin{figure}[h]
       \centerline{\input{Rplots.tex}}
       \caption{}
     \end{figure}
     %...
     \end{document}

i.e. the `unknown' package is called "pictex"	...
