[R] Brace highlighting in R for the PC?

I am sure Doug Bates is aware of the many requests for nlme. For both that
(I believe) and polr we need better (ability to use gradients) optimizers,
and I am working on that too.

Thank you: we _will_ consider it.

Yes, there are indeed plans. Guido Masarotto has been in hospital and
is not yet fully on-stream, so a lot of this has been delayed. I spent time
on the ts library, because for me that was a big gap.
