[R] running non-base functions

See the help on attach and library.  search() is the usual way to look at
the search path: searchpaths() gives information that users don't usually
need, but the help system does.

By the way, you can run functions you create, which will be in the 
user workspace .GlobalEnv, the first item on the search list.
