Nope. If configure thinks X support isn't available, then you have to
make it change its mind.

Usually, this comes from not forgetting to install -devel packages for
X11 (e.g. XFree86-devel on RedHat), but otherwise the scientific
approach is to study config.log and see what went wrong.
