You're correct, of course-- even after harping at students about this I
STILL write correlation more often than not.  I don't actually use CCA or
DCA very often, but they should be included in the library for
completeness.  Likewise TWINSPAN, although I personally prefer indicator
species analyses ala Dufrene and Legendre.
