Yes. The third. That's the only one that is R-aware. (R didn't do
anything like enough in early 1997 when the second edition went to press,
but we produced R complements and packages from mid-1998, as I recall.)

In theory at least that is the only edition that is actually available.
Sites like Amazon often list out-of-print books that they can't
actually get.
