[R] Re: RPM install failure, redhat 6.1

um, not to answer my own question, but i had made /usr/lib/R
a symlink to a big partition prior to the install, and apparently
something interacts badly with that: when i removed it, the
install succeeded. does someone know offhand whether the install
is meant to work in the presence of such a symlink? (perhaps
not really an R-help question.)
