[R] a Q on how this list is handled

Sorry to send this to the whole list.  I couldn't find info on FAQ,
etc.  Also, others on this list may wonder what I'm wondering, since this
list is better-handled than others I'm on.

Q: what tools do the moderators use for this list?  In particular, how is
info at the bottom of the items (about unsubscribing, etc) tacked on?  

Background: I handle a list with majordomo, and I'd love to be able to add
info such as this (as well as cursory answers/comments from myself) to
items submitted to the list.
