[R] loading data in packages

In that case you should definitely upgrade. There's 1000 lines of features
and bug fixes in the NEWS file since 0.65.1.  Version 1.0 should actually
be fairly stable, and we plan to keep the API, data format, and even the
random number generators fixed for quite a while. 

We changed the data format in version 0.90, which is probably the main
problem, but we also changed the names of a lot of internal C functions so
that some packages just won't work under 0.65.1 (eg survival5).
