Does anyone have a function such as tee() described below?
It would be nice not to have to go to Emacs and have to deal with yet
another editor.

Further to W. T. Woodard's query:
The natural solution would be to provide a function tee()
with the same syntax as sink, whose effect was to
divert output to a file but alså let the output appear
at the screen.
