[R] R-1.1.1 for Debian 2.2

I did do "apt-get clean" and "apt-get update".

I wondered about line order in sources.list. Put the cran line after the
debian lines initially, then moved it ahead of them, then commented out
everything but the cran line to be sure apt-get couldn't see anything else.
None of this worked. I'm inclined to suppose that apt-get is smart enough
to compare version numbers from alternative sites, though I'm just guessing.

Re Stefano's post, yes it is strange. Perhaps the difference is explained
by dependencies. apt-get may be able to sort out the first level, but not
more than one level.
